Anyone ever heard of BIOSILK?

has anyone ever heard of the hair product BIOSILK? if so plz tell me where i can purchase it, my friend let me use it and it works FABULOUS

Anyone ever heard of BIOSILK?
it does work very well in the beginning, then after a while it starts to dry your hair out (it has alcohol in it)


i used it for about 2 years then noticed that my hair was drier than usual (i actually confirmed it on this site) some people told me to switch out my products.


i've done that and my hair is back to normal now.
Reply:biosilk silk therapy is what you are referring to. it is made by Farouk and is available in most salons. it is about 12 dollars for a small bottle.





when using this product - less is more. start out with just a drop and rub it in your hands well before applying to your hair. do this before blow drying and then as you are blowing out your hair you can add more as needed. i like to add one more drop throughout the hair after the blow out is finished.

Reply:I usually get my biosilk at a hair salon in the mall. it is at almost any store. but if you go to a hair salon you can get it quite a bit cheaper. I love biosilk. It works so well.
Reply:You can buy it from a salon or from someone you know who has a state beauty license and can get it from stores that only sell to professionals. It does work well and it smells pretty good. I use it sometimes.

Reply:yep, Biosilk is a line put out by a professional company called Farouk. I think you are looking for the therapy, its an oil/serum product. Not the best out there. It has alcohol in it and also do you know where the silk comes from? Its from a silk worm, the product uses silk from the worms butt. That's no joke you can research if you don't believe. But, there are many other professional serums that aren't loaded with alcohol and worm poo. Redken Glass is nice, Paul Mitchell has nice serums, Eufora which is made from 75% aloe vera and other natural ingredients, no alcohol and water is not the primary ingredient. They have a nice spray and a serum. Eufora is a little more expensive but lasts much longer because its so highly concentrated with good stuff. All of these can be found in salons, some you can find in drug stores but that doesn't mean they are real!!!!! just because the bottle is doesn't mean the product is. Redken, Paul Mitchell, and Eufora are all safe for your hair and do not test on animals too. But using a serum alone will not create this wonderful head of hair, you need to use professional shampoos and conditioners as well because the cheaper brands are loaded with water, alcohol and proteins which will cause breakage. Too much protein is NOT good for your hair! Check with your local stylist for the best shampoo, conditioner, and serum for your hair type.

Reply:There is Biosilk shampoo and conditioner, but I LOVE their Silk Therapy which is something you can put on wet or dry hair to give it shine and sheen. You can buy it at any salon. It is made by Farouk. (sp?)
Reply:I got mine at the hair salon in a Super walmart. It's great, I just hope it really doesn't dry my hair out, like I just read.
