1. Some products of biosilk brand does protect against heat but not all of them.

3. The Biosilk Silk Therapy (hope thats what ya mean) is used as mostly a mild smoothing lotion and as a shine for hair.

works pretty well but if you put too much in your hair will look greasy!
Reply:I work in Penney's salon, and we have Farouk products. The most moisturizing/protective is their "Silk Therapy". When you apply it to freshly washed/towel-dried hair, it will not only soften and moisturize, but provide protection against heat. You can also use it in bath water to moisturize skin, but it leaves a bit of a film in the tub after you drain the water, so be careful. It's great after shaving legs!!!! Makes them SO soft and shiny!

There are multiple kinds of biosilk. the clear bottle with the clear oil in it is an anti-frizz serum that moisturizes and should protect to an extent but biosilk also makes a heat protection serum and it comes in a cream colored bottle. But as long as your hair is moisturized it should be protected by the heat.





2. I would think that it would protect your hair well enough but it is always best to buy the special heat protection sprays and serums. Just dont use too much it will make your hair oily....and no one likes oily hair..ew





3. Original biosilk is an anti frizz serum, but they make different kinds.
