My hair is naturally curly, I want to do something new with it though! I always wanna try new hairstyles but?

I never can do cool things with it because my hair is like this (picture below) .. I want a new colour, I want new bangs.. everything! I have a hair straightener but whenever I straighten it my roots are so dry, well.. basically my whole head is( I use biosilk) and it is like my hair never grows! I always wanna do this hair style with it too ( Lauren Conrad from the hills) but I cant.. I need a lot of help haha.Thanks:)

Reply:use thin straightners they work the best


and get a special shampoo for straightened hair
Reply:Get a good shampoo dye your hair black cut it shoulder length lots of layers make it light and feathery and straighten it !
Reply:Enhance your curls. Put gel and mouse in and it will be nice... make sure its wet. I have a lot more curly hair then you so I am not sure what I could tell you. I have created side bangs by parting my hair to the side then but a head band on.

Reply:I have the same type of hair. It is really irritating. I have been to 2 hairdressers and they don't really have any ideas except to straighten my hair everyday. It takes to much time! Good luck..I hope someone here will give you some ideas!
