Biosilk any good?

Everybody is mentioning biosilk...is it any good? I have frizzy, curly hair and every time I straighten it it really damages my hair! So many splitends!! What should I get?? Do I really need to get the shampoo/conditioner/treatment? What would I need to protect my hair agaist all the heat! help anybody! I really appreciate any answers.

I love BioSilk. My mom started using it when I was about 15 and I use to sneak in her bathroom and use hers I have super curly hair and sometimes its really hard to comb through Im now 20 and I have my own biosilk now, It seems to make my hair silky and it smells really clean and I use it when I Chi my hair to keep it from looking fried, I dont know if its just me but when I chi my hair with a flat iron i put it on the ends of my hair and its like magic!! but as much as I love it Im sure people are going to have some cons to using it, I suggest getting a sample size and trying it for yourself. Its a bit expensive however, but they make a small size thats about 12 dollars, I like this product because just using a little goes a long way,so a small bottle usually last me a while.

Reply:OH YES...BIOSILK IS AMAZING!!! its a great shampoo and conditioner. i use matrix color smart as a shampoo and biosilk hydrating as the conditioner. hydrating is like a cleansing all purpose conditioner...you should try it i guarantee it works GREAT! good luck =)
Reply:Try the biosilk silk therapy which is light and not heavy and not soo greasy. its light enough to be used on your skin without clogging your pores.

It is not necessary to spend a fortune on shampoos and conditioners. Use a conditioning shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. But do try the BioSilk Serum to apply to hair to help protect when straightening.


Sometimes just stop fighting with that curly hair. Shampoo, Condition apply a little oil or the BioSilk Shine On ; Comb through put on a headband and be through!

Reply:I hate it.. It has Alcohol in it which is horrible for frizzy, curly hair, (the same kind as mine) It is worse on your hair in the long run.





Use alot of skinny serum , or another non- alcohol glosser, Load it up!
