Chi Iron Question......?

I straighten my hair with the Chi iron, but my hair is really dry from the ends even though I just got them cut. I have seen some people who straighten their hair with the same iron and their hair looks nice and shiny. I used Biosilk before but I dont really like it. Can someone tell me what kind of stuff I can use when I am flat ironing my hair to make my hair look even straighter and shinier?? Thanks!!

i hate Biosilk too, it makes my hair greasy.





Anyway, first, blow your hair dry using a round brush and a striaghtening cream, like Rusk Str8. That works the best! Then when you're about to flat iron, get a heat protectant spray and spray it on in sections as you iron. Big Sexy Hair has a product called Shine and Seal that works really well for this. Also, CHI makes a flat iron spray that makes the hair glossy and silky.





Also, you might try a deep conditioner once or twice a week if you don't already. Pureology makes the best one.

Reply:I use a heat protection spray first to keep it from damaging my hair as much {I use one by the CHI brand}, and i also use the CHI silk, it makes it soft and shiney

Reply:If Biosilk and the CHI aren't working for you, you'll need to definately cut your hair.





In the mean time..."LEAVE-IN-CONDITIONER". Use a good, THICK leave-in-conditioner (Not grease) to help restore your hair.





Also use Pantene pro-v "restorative" treatment after you wash and conditioner to help your hair (just about $3 bucks at a walgreens or walmart etc.)





you need to focus on the health of your hair and not the shine. If you focus on the health, she shine will come in time.
