I'll be honest.... being that I've been in the hair industry for almost 8 years now, I used to use the Chi Iron when I worked in the salon.





I had to buy 4 because each and every one of my Chi's broke down! Those are one of the most horrible iron's I've ever used. And it's not just me. Everyone in my salon went through this. Tons of wasted money on those things.





You want sleek and smooth hair? The BEST product that you can use, and it's so much more less expensive than buying an iron, is called Super Skinny Shampoo and Treatment.





I have straight hair as well, but it gets poofy too. Almost frizzy poofy! This shampoo and conditioner is made by Paul Mitchell. You HAVE to buy it in a salon. Any salon that sells Paul Mitchell will have it. (And it smells great!!! you'll fall in love with just the scent of it alone!)





There is also a serum that goes along with it. You put only about one or two pumps into your hands and run it through your towel dried hair, blow dry and using these products all together, you're going to have the shiniest silkiest smoothest hair you've always wanted!





But, remember, you have to buy this stuff in a salon. Its not that expensive either, and you only need to use a small small SMALL amount! Only about a quarter sized amount of the shampoo and conditioner, and only up to TWO pumps of the serum. It should last you a good six months, too.

if u go to the mall in a stand is a straightner called le angelo it is pretty expensive but if u negotiate with them they will lower it i go tmine for $70 it works 10 x better than chi
Reply:YES!! It will work. i wish i could show you before and after pics of me. My hair would not even go straight with a relaxer!! I use a Chi Iron and it works. I use biosilk when it is wet, let it dry natural and then flat iron it and put a little more biosilk for my flyaways in the front, not too much though! By the way I'm a cosmetologist so trust me it works!!
Reply:My hair will also look like a pyramid!!! I also live in a very humid climate and believe me I've tried every product out there. I wish some one would have told me to get the CHI flat iron sooner. I also use CHI products and love them. Paul Mitchel Skinny Hair is great too. Next time you go to your hairdresser tell her the problem of the pyramid and if she's good she should be able to layer your hair in such a way that it decreases that pyramid look. Mine did. Again the CHI flat iron is fabulous and if you can afford it the blow dryer is too.
